A male voice choir reenacts the sounds of women in labour as remembered by the men who supported them.
Leah Lovett is an artist and mother living and working in London. Her collaborative practice encompasses installation, performance and sound. Recent projects include Rise (Roaming Room, London, 2017), Contracorrente/Upstream (UP Projects, London and Rio de Janeiro, 2016), and Light Transmission (Wellcome Collection, London, 2015). Leah is researching her PhD, Making a Scene, at the Slade, UCL, with support from the AHRC.
